Your vehicle must be in one piece, have an engine, and be accessible for safe towing. All expenses associated with selling your car and processing your donation are deducted from the gross sales price. If the costs exceed the price, they are covered by our vehicle donation program provider, CARS (CarEasy.org). The proceeds from your generous vehicle donation are sent to Catholic Charities of California. When applicable, CARS will also send you an IRS Form within 30 days of the sale, stating the amount of gross proceeds received from their donation.
