Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County's Prom & Formal Dress Giveaway, hosted in partnership with the Neighborhood Safety Service Unit of Santa Clara County, was held at Seven Trees Family Resource Center and Educare Family Resource Center, bringing meaningful support and celebration to local families.
Both locations welcomed 115 attendees, each in search of the perfect dress for a special occasion. Thanks to generous donations, 103 dresses were distributed, helping students and families prepare for milestone events with confidence and excitement. Due to the overwhelming response and clear community need, a second Prom & Formal Dress Giveaway was held at the Seven Trees Family Resource Center, continuing the effort to ensure students have access to the resources they need to celebrate their special moments with dignity and joy.
The atmosphere at both sites was filled with joy, gratitude, and relief as families found formal attire that might otherwise have been out of reach. Many shared appreciation for an event that helped ease the financial burden of prom and formal wear.
