Who we are
Catholic Charities of California (CCC) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) that represents the statewide network of local Catholic Charities.
Each year, CCC’s statewide network provides over 4.3 million human services to Californians.
Catholic Charities agencies specialize in whole-person and whole-family assessment and in wraparound services to address the root causes of poverty and suffering.
Mission
CCC is a statewide faith-based network of local Catholic Charities organizations that provides leadership, resources, and collaborative opportunities with the aim to expand the professional delivery of human services to people of all cultures and beliefs throughout the state.
What We Do
CCC administers impactful statewide human services programs to reduce poverty and uplift vulnerable Californians. These programs include nutrition services, immigration legal services, and disaster services. CCC acquires funding on behalf of the statewide network and passes it to local Catholic Charities organizations to deliver direct services. CCC also provides leadership and support to California's local Catholic Charities organizations, including:
- Facilitating collaboration and networking among local Catholic Charities organizations;
- Maintaining relationships with State agencies and other California entities working to reduce poverty; and
- Providing training, technical assistance, research, and leadership to local Catholic Charities in developing model programs.
