1 Client Challenge

Mohibullah served as a combat Army medic who saved the lives of injured U.S. Soldiers in Afghanistan. His life was threatened because of his service to our country. Leaving Afghanistan and resettling in the U.S. was his family’s best chance at a safe and secure future.

2 Our Response

Mohibullah came to the U.S. through SFBFS’ Refugee Resettlement Services. Our low-cost immigration legal services helped him navigate the complexities of obtaining lawful status in the United States.

SFBS supported Mohibullah’s family with household basics, such as full-size bedding sets, bath towels and pillows, so he could have their needs met when they joined our community.

3 The Outcome

Mohibullah loves his new home and is proud of his contribution to its safety.
