The Samuel Jones Hall shelter provides food, clothing, and a warm bed for up to 6 months at a time for those experiencing homelessness. They offer counseling, medical and mental health referrals, and job counseling/placement while helping people rebuild life skills to move towards independence. Those who want to get into Sam Jones Hall start by going to the Drop In Center at Caritas Village (301 6th Street), waitlist is available for signups if shelter is full. The FRCI strategy ensures children are ready for school, builds strong family relationships, and creates connected schools and communities.
